From my personal experience it was great!  However, I was single for almost my entire career.  The huge amount of time away from home and family is hard on a marriage, so consider that carefully.

I made plenty of money, always had a nice place to live and had more toys than I knew what to do with (I owned a 1977 Corvette and a 1965 Mustang Fastback).  I had the best quality, most advanced military gear available, and I traveled all over the world.  The best part was, everywhere we went we were treated like Rock Stars!

One last note... the worst day in the Teams is better than the best day in the fleet!
